This morning Vodafone dropped down to just $33 per ADR share. The UK-based global telecom now yields 5.5% and is definitely worth a bite right here. Last fiscal quarter the company turned revenue-growth positive for the first time in a couple years, and the green shoots are now sprouting all over the place. Data growth and emerging markets are leading the way. Not only that, Vodafone has more cash on its balance sheet than some small, oil-rich mideast countries do.
I like Vodafone and I'm happy to be back in it. I got out at over $40 and have been looking for a way back in for awhile now.
